Boers
The other great passion we have at Revelation Ranch is Boer goats. It all started fourteen years ago when we took in a rescue Boer goat from our local equine veterinarian. Well, she needed friends and now the rest is history.
Although, we raise Nigerian Dwarf goats since 2016, in 2021 we began to get back into the Boer goats. Starting with some of the does listed below. Since then we have showed extensively.
We have a disease free herd at Revelation Ranch. We test all of our goats for CAE, Johne's Disease, and CL yearly.
We also do our own fecal egg counts and FAMANCHA scores here on the ranch, striving to select for the goats that are more resistant to Haemonchus.
We are members of the American Boer Goat Association (ABGA).

She has 2 individual ABGA points. Dream also has 1 individual JABGA point.
